Dear Friends,
We are well into 2009 and have found it to be a very interesting year. Economically a lot of people are struggling. There have been major lay- offs, loss of jobs, and the most serious times that most of us have ever experienced.
However, Jesus said “I have come that you might have life in abundance”. So, be encouraged, don’t lose faith, because the one who has called you is faithful. Now, that’s what we’ve been saying all these years, so I guess it’s time to see it work.
So many of you have been asking when we would resume taping our weekly TV program on TBN, Unfolding Majesty. That has happened!!! We we’re recently In Dallas for several days doing just that. We had several of our close friends there and that made it very special. Watch for the new programs as they should be aired soon.
We have been pretty busy lately. Besides the taping, we have been to Kerrville, Texas, to Del Ways church and really had a great time with his people. Just down home folks.
We also just returned from Pittsburgh where we hosted Cornerstone Television’s 30th anniversary special. A lot of you know that we did a weekly show there for 17 years. It was great to be with Ron Hembree, Norma Bixler and all our friends, and the staff for that celebration.
In a few weeks we will be in a great conference in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with Bishop David Huskins. We are certainly looking forward to that; a time of ministry and refreshing in the Word with friends. We all need to take the time to fellowship together in His presence.
Speaking of fellowshipping together, we are home on this rainy Saturday night, and Mary has everything ready to cook for Sunday lunch with our friends Jimmy and Mona Blackwood. We have been friends for over 40 years. They keep our dog Essie when we can’t take her with us on the road. Now, that’s a real friend!!!
We would like to tell you that Jesus has established a covenant with us. Now that is powerful! His word says that he will never leave us or forsake us. So, whatever you are facing remember His promises to you concerning your finances, job, wife, husband, children, health, and everything in your future, He is in control. Wow, I’m glad I said that. We need to hear it as much as anybody.
Thank you for years of caring. Remember, “Thou will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee”. We love you and we’re praying for you.
Dean and Mary
